stillframes

Sometimes I wish pictures were like Harry Potter pictures, capturing not only a moment, but personality and feeling. As it is, here are some recent normal pictures of normal people in my normal life.

(My sweet friend Bek got married!)

(Lydia and I drove 32+ hours without air conditioning to be a part of her wedding)

(Tan and I, plus Wes and Nikki and Christian, went to Devil’s Lake last weekend)

(No caption needed 😍)

recently taken

(Tribal Cup with Marty and Andy)

(Anna and I tied for the win in an ugly sweater contest. Plot twist, I actually had no idea there was a contest.  I genuinely thought my sweater was cute.)

(Some of the faces I get to work with every day.)

more picture memories

(Emily, the lovely lady in the middle, and her husband open their home to me at least two or three nights a week.  They’re basically my school parents.)

(My CM chicas:)

(Definitely a garbage picture, but I like it anyway.  If you look closely, you can see where I have a butterfly bandage on my finger, where I lost a fight with a squash knife.)

The First Work Week

(Boxes of strawberry plants.  So far I have helped plant over 20,000)

(One of the older strawberry fields)

(The backend of the tractor we sit in to plant)

(View of Bohringers fruit farm from Vroman’s Nose)

A Day Late and A Picture Short

(J's repaired bowl)

(Pretty sure this is called Biko in Tagalog.  No clue what they call it in the local language, but it's my favorite dessert by far.)

(Our daily helper and another lady making a new bread recipe together. Sorry for the poor lighting; I was trying to be artsy without being creepy.)

(Some pink foliage in the early morning sun. A few weeks old, but worth sharing.)
